• Family members: learn a simple structure that can help you to really hear one another, in a mutually respectful way.
• Teachers: learn a way to facilitate authentic dialogue in the classroom, to enhance student learning and creative thinking.
• Mediators and psychotherapists: become more comfortable and effective in working with difficult emotions and polarized situations in relationships and groups.
• Coaches: learn a way of listening to your clients, that helps them sort through their various “inner voices” (including the more difficult and critical ones), connect with what feels most alive in them, and arrive at their own creative breakthroughs.
• Managers and Leaders: Develop your skills in drawing out the best thinking of the people who work for you, and applying collective intelligence to effectivey address the real issues that your organization is facing.

Like Focusing, Dynamic Facilitation has many different applications. Some consultants are using it with project teams and management teams in business settings (for examples, read some brief testimonies or watch a short video). In Austria, DF is being used in the public sector, to facilitate innovative public participation projects known as BürgerInnen-Räte. The use of Wisdom Councils is now spreading in Germany and in Switzerland, also. Yet DF is not limited to business or public sector use. It can also be helpful with families, community groups, non-profit groups – just about any kind of group can benefit from this approach.

  

Some previous Focusing experience is recommended. This class is also open for people with a keen interest in the combination of Focusing and Dynamic Facilitation.

Note:  This workshop is a benefit for both The Focusing Institute and Focusing Kompetenz Zentrum. In addition, it is an unusual opportunity for people in the Focusing community, to obtain training in Dynamic Facilitation at a much lower cost than what is usual in the consulting world.
